Privacy notice
This pilot stores the account details you provide: your display name, country, email address, a securely hashed password, and an optional age range. Your email, password, and age range are private and are not shown on the public leaderboard.
Steps and leaderboard
Daily step entries are linked to your participant account so the website can calculate your score and show your public display name and country in the challenge. Step entries in this pilot are not independently verified.
Account access
Your password is not stored as readable text. A sign-in session is stored to keep you signed in. Do not use a password that you use for another service.
Children and age ranges
Age range is optional. If a participant is under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to the participation and data use. The pilot records this as a self-confirmed checkbox and does not independently verify guardian identity; the organizer should add an appropriate guardian consent process before public launch.
Account deletion
You can delete your profile and recorded step data from the profile page. Deletion removes your participant entry and its step records from the leaderboard.
Before public launch
This is a self-hosted pilot, not a complete legal privacy policy. Before inviting the public, the organizer should publish a real contact address, set a data retention period, and review privacy requirements in the countries where participants live. Use HTTPS for a public site.
